The Ripple Revolver
I didn’t ask for this. To be the publisher of a digital publication guided by the principals set forth in The Ripple Revolver, but that’s how it goes with The Ripple Revolver, isn’t it?
You don’t apply for the position. You don’t campaign for it. It finds you—whether you’re ready or not.
The honorary and ever revolving council of advisors, legendary luminaries, almost cosmically mythic in their stature—decided I was next in line. I am the one to carry the weight of this thing forward into the 21st century. The ones before me did their part, pushing the revolver, keeping the ripple moving. Now it’s my turn.
So here we are.
The primary mandate of this publication is simple. To continue the work. It is work we all know, it’s both familiar ideas and foundational tenets for growing and building a better world. It is work we have all done, it’s both familial labors and fundamental practices for growing and becoming better human beings. It is work we each feel, both day to day and over the course of recorded history. The ideas expressed here are certainly shared by the publishers and shared without reserve in this digital publication. This is part newspaper, part newsletter and always available. This is part community forum, part soapbox town square…where we encourage an open exchange of ideas, where the reader is invited and welcomed to contribute their voice, where you can be seen and heard by fellow human beings.

Dr. Robert Will See You Now
An Invitation from the Ripple Revolver Editorial Staff—
Health. Medicine. Survival. These aren’t abstract concepts—they’re the core of what it means to live, and to keep living. And yet, navigating the systems meant to support our well-being often feels like an uphill fight.
We believe in science. We believe in data. But we also know: healing is bigger than the hospital. Western medicine is just one thread in a tapestry that includes ancient remedies, holistic traditions, and real-world lived experience.
That’s why we’re introducing Dr. Robert—a new column at The Ripple Revolver. It’s not just a feature. It’s a meeting ground. A shared space where patients and professionals, skeptics and seekers, all come together to tell the truth.
However messy. However inconvenient. However off-script.
Here, we’ll explore:
• Personal healthcare experiences—the hard, the hopeful, the unconventional paths to healing.
• The failures of the U.S. healthcare system—from insurance nightmares to procedural stonewalling.
• Alternative approaches to wellness—rooted in history, culture, nature, or plain old trial-and-error.
• Voices from inside the system—doctors, nurses, techs, pharmacists, paramedics. If you’ve seen it, we want to hear it.
And this is where you come in.
We’re looking for contributors—not just writers, but witnesses. Patients with stories. Professionals with insight. Advocates with fire in their belly. If you’ve ever wanted to say what no one’s saying, or to shine a light into the corners no one sees, this is your platform.
Don’t worry about being a polished writer—we’ll help you find the voice. And if discretion matters, we offer anonymity and protection. We’ve got your back. Because sometimes the truth needs a little cover fire.
Dr. Robert isn’t a person. It’s a chorus. A container. A cultural remix of everything we’ve inherited—and everything we still have to learn.
Got something to say?
Write to us. Share your story. Let’s break the silence.
Dr. Robert is listening.
